Why do these legislations have to sound so alien. You may have female chickens for eggs. Do not place you chickens in harms way. Provide humain living arrangements for the chickens. If anyone complains about things like odor and noise of you chicken pets you will have to resolve the concerns or be in danger of loosing your chicken permit. So whatcha think

I think that the way this reads we would have to use the middle of the yard and it would be terribly cumbersome to be in compliance. I understand the hen house should be away from the property line, but good grief, our yard is our yard. Is it not?

A huge thanks to all of you at CFA who organized this memorable Food Day gathering. This was a genuine community event that I know will grow the future of a local sustainable food "system". Randall

Hi Sizwe,

I met you at a Green Team meeting at EUMC. I'm training to do development work in Uganda. Sally Wingate just forwarded this link to me and I was curious to talk with you about the possibility for a mini grant for our community garden. Is it too late to apply? Currently, we all pitch in to make it happen, but it is difficult as we are all students working side jobs to "float the boat." Anyhow, let me know when you get a chance. Thanks so much!

Peace,

Seth Davis

Thanks for organizing this! I went around to see about 6 of them this morning. David gave us a great tour of Glencliff HS's new garden! However, some of the gardens were all locked up :(
